We came round the bend To an empire An empire that was led astray By badges and bullets Who never let the innocent turn away Who relished in tears And preyed on the young Whose only crime was not living up to a To a false expectation Go ahead and preach your lies. While they sing “Revolution” You think you're on the mend They're standing at your doorstep Can't stop them barging in And while your home is burning Nobody blinks an eye And while your heart is melting They'll extinguish the light. Total fixation on a nation That was run by the corrupt The people called They killed em' all Only to quench their thirst for blood So go ahead and spill the secrets Let em' live on through all time Let em' hear the people screaming Go ahead; Preach your fucking lies. While they sing Revolution You think you're on the mend They're standing at your doorstep Can't stop them barging in And while your home is burning Nobody blinks an eye And while your heart is melting They'll extinguish the light. They'll extinguish the light They'll extinguish the light And while your home is burning Nobody blinks an eye And while your heart is melting They call it sacrifice.

Sign my heart with your name Bind me to you, I’ll hand you the deed Take me here on the sand I’ll make you feel alive. Pack your bags come with me New start waiting, get this show on the road Anywhere that you want Just for a while. (Hand in Hand). Walk down Paddington’s Aisle We’ve been away for a while I’ve been waiting for you Make your ambitions come true With several minutes to spare We’ll write our names in the sand Concoct our devious plans Side-by-side, hand-in-hand. Feigning oblivion I think you knew all along, that I’ve watched you You’re dormant, so patiently Waiting for the right time Let my tears wash through your hair Silence drips down, right down to your neck My hands linger around Waiting for the right time. (Hand In Hand). Walk down Paddington’s Aisle We’ve been away for a while I’ve been waiting for you Make your ambitions come true With several minutes to spare We’ll write our names in the sand Concoct our devious plans Side-by-side, hand-in-hand.

Shadows 04:52
Old fashioned ways are gone When did our hearts fade away? It took years to rebuild It took nine lives to live Why are the shadows standing still? When there are children seeking shade? Sometimes we need to forget our deceptions Again? Again. We’re changing Don’t know why World’s changing don’t ask why. Don’t wish to be another man Just hold your own, we don’t depend on this Eleven days ago I got lost I felt hungry I got tired I grew fond of Fighting monsters all night. We will be set back again Under new management It took all night to sleep It took all night to breathe Why are the shadows standing still? When people want to start again? This time we need to reject our companions To live Let live. We’re changing Don’t know why World’s changing don’t ask why. Don’t wish to be another man Just hold your own, we don’t depend on this Eleven days ago I got lost I felt hungry I got tired I grew fond of Fighting monsters all night long.

Serenity 04:22
This seems like a perfect place To sit and ponder the world To watch our stresses go by Sit back and stare for a while To get a feel of the atmosphere To feel all the beauty of Earth To sit in a coffee shop and dream of knowing what we’re all worth. But to get that far Far enough to understand who we are Close enough to reach out and touch the stars Deep enough to see the love behind the scars High enough above to know what it all means When lovers hold each other close between the sheets If death will be our ultimate serenity In a world that’s plagued by beauty bittersweet Bittersweet. I wish our thoughts inspired actions And our actions inspired thoughts See the answers are what I sought to discover But the answers have always been lost I want to feel the will of honest men Men who are out define Our destiny, to live for each other What it takes to save another’s life. But to be a man To be more than a boy I gotta lend a hand Sing our songs to make the others understand Show them that serenity does not mean death Give the hopeless hope by giving them our time Even if it takes us our entire lives Look beneath the skin to see a lifelong fight Surely all the scars will turn the dark to light The dark to light. As bittersweet as it sounds Our world is profound With the hopes and the dreams Of seven billion human beings All longing for the same kind of love like a game But the universe holds the dice. Seems like the place and the time To go out and save a life Fall in love, stick it through Till our hopes and dreams come true Till we find that what we seek was never meant to be found. But to get that far Far enough to understand who we are Close enough to reach out and touch the stars Deep enough to see the love behind the scars High enough above to know what it all means When lovers hold each other close between the sheets If death will be our ultimate serenity In a world that’s plagued by beauty bittersweet Or is that just the nature of our paradigm Simply born into an awfully simple life Born to die, to live, to fight, just to survive That’s not how a better man would spend his time Searching for the answers lies within my blood Everything I know will never be enough Try to get the feeling of the coffee shop Happiness lies ahead man, we can’t stop. Happiness lies ahead man, we can’t stop.

Vices 04:03
What say we turn, run and hide? What say we fall deep into the night? Run away, run from pain That only bottoms of bottles can face. What say we leave our woes behind? Instead of standing here waiting to die Fall out of lines, time after time Where we've been subject to the lies. Our emptiness is a mindset that we fill with vices we'll regret. Temptation closes in until we're incapacitated, yeah. Freedom is but a stone's throw away Regrets are nothing when I'm not feeling a God damn thing I'm alive; I walk on air, I leave no trail to find Take to the streets, back to my feet This is the ground and horizon of my living being Man, my beliefs are one of a kind What say we turn and leave no trail to find? We're subject to substance, make me a slave Washing my dispossessions away Another day, another trip Never to detoxify this shit. When I'm awake, man I'm in pain But I come alive when my body breaks Put me to shame, I live in memories on highs I'll never regain. No trail to find.

I’d like to think of us like a fairytale I’d love to write a song for us two I tried to harmonise with your heartbeat Till it disappeared from this song of mine Into someone else’s over time. And all I ever wanted was for your happiness to be mine All I ever needed was your loving smile All I ever had was a front row seat To watch my world fall from under my feet To which now, I’m weak at the knees. I could have loved you If you’d given me the chance I could have been there for you When you felt the slightest bit of sad. I should have kissed you But it would’ve made you mad I should have never tried Cos my love was sent right back. You like to think of us like we’re just friends I can’t accept the inevitable truth of that You like to say that we’re okay I’m kind of glad you feel this way If that’s the mindset that keeps you sane. And all I ever wanted was for your happiness to be mine All I ever needed was to give to you my time All I ever had was a front row seat To watch my world fall from under my feet To which now, I’m weak at the knees. I could have loved you If you’d given me the chance I could have been there for you When you felt the slightest bit of sad. I should have kissed you But it would’ve made you mad I should have never tried Cos my love was sent right back.
